There is a widely undisputed and well supported belief that antibiotics successfully cure acute cases of Lyme disease if caught early enough with an appropriate length of treatment. Therefore, if one were to follow a logical approach, the trick with using antibiotics successfully in the treatment of chronic Lyme disease would be to restore sufferers to the state of health they would have been in (i.e. predominantly healthy) if the disease had been caught early.
